Villa Rules
We love animals, but unfortunately the Villa is not suitable for pets. To help preserve the property and ensure the comfort of all our guests, we kindly thank you for your understanding.
La Sauvagère is a non-smoking property. Smoking is permitted outside only.
This is a peaceful retreat: no parties or excessive noise.
Please take the utmost care of the Villa and its amenities, furniture, décor, tableware, so that future guests may enjoy them as well.
If you notice anything missing, please inform us promptly so we can replace it.
In the event of breakage or damage, kindly notify us before departure. The property will be inspected at the end of your stay, and any loss or damage may be subject to charges.
Please do not move the furniture. All items must remain on the property. Remember to close doors and windows when you leave, and switch off lights, heating, and electrical appliances.
Bath towels must remain in the Villa and should not be used at the beach.
Final cleaning is included at no extra cost; however, out of respect for the housekeeping team and incoming guests, we ask that you leave the Villa tidy upon departure: dishes washed and put away, and bins emptied in the designated containers.
All keys must be returned at the end of your stay. Missing keys will incur a replacement fee. For safety reasons, candles are not permitted inside the house.
If you use the barbecue, please use the designated utensils and clean it after use. Kindly refrain from eating in the upstairs rooms.
Safety Information
- The Park & Hillside La Sauvagère lies at the foot of a small hill. The one-hectare park includes around 3,000 m² of this natural hillside, just behind the Villa. You are welcome to walk there and enjoy the panoramic views over Omaha Beach, but please exercise caution. For safety reasons, children should not explore the hillside unsupervised. We especially recommend that they do not use the small stone staircase near the garage: it leads to areas above the hill and garage that are not suitable for them. Similarly, the slope bordering the main west-facing terrace offers a beautiful vantage point, but children should not access it without supervision.
- The Old Water Basin Below the Villa, under the west-facing terrace at the foot of the hillside, there is a former water reservoir. It is now empty, but we kindly ask that you keep an eye on children playing nearby.
La Sauvagère is a private home. We simply ask that you treat it with the same respect as if it were your own.
